HI, my name is Stacey Norman and I read your post about getting medications for your patients/clients. Do you have any contacts with any pharmacies; this question is to ask the pharmacy rep. about individual pharmaceutical companies provided free medications to people without insurance. I don't really know who it works, but this is something one of the pharmacy rep. told me a couple of years ago. Walgreens has a list of meds that costs $5.00. Maybe your agency can help with the cost. In the past I would save my change in the bottom of my pocketbook for two weeks, so that if a client needed carfare or something, (I had a limit on how I did this), and this money was only for certain clients. You can also speak with the pharmacy you use to see if this program is still in affect. I don't know if this can help you, but I will ask around and post again.

You can also apply directly to the pharmaceutical companies that manufacture your consumer's meds. Try going to PPARX.org for more information.
