Branch Chief’s Corner: A welcome message from Dr. Charlene Le Fauve, Chief, Co-Occurring and Homeless Activities Branch (CHAB).
Hello, I’m Charlene Le Fauve, and I’m the Director of the Co-Occurring and Homeless Activities Branch of the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment. Informally, our Branch is called “CHAB.” Our hope for this site, and for our work as a whole, is that we are providing a firm foundation on which we can come together to build a dynamic learning community that will advance the field. We share your deep concern and commitment to advancing and improving the care of persons who are homeless or have co-occurring disorders, including the many people who experience both of these. We hope that by sharing the best resources we can find, including our own expertise and experience, we can help each of these individuals find and follow a road that leads to recovery, whatever that means to them: a road that will enable them to reclaim lives in the community.
We’re glad you found your way to us, and we hope you’ll come here often to find new resources, read interviews with experts, learn what your colleagues are doing to address common problems, learn about upcoming events, and participate in a community that shares your concerns and is trying to make a difference.
Welcome to our site.
