This curriculum is part of the Supportive Housing Training Series, put out by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. This training is an introduction to the clinical skills needed to help tenants with special needs sustain themselves in supportive housing, including building trust, setting goals, motivating tenants, using referral services and documentation. At the end of this training, participants will be able to identify their role in the helping relationship and increase their skills in providing optimal case management services for tenants of supportive housing.
