PATH Webcast Resource: National Definitions
SAMHSA hosted a series of webcasts about the PATH National Definitions on Eligibility and Enrollment. Resources from the webcast are available for download.
PATH programs provide services to people who are experiencing mental illness and are experiencing homelessness or risk of homelessness. But what does this mean? The PATH Administrative Workgroup examined the PATH Legislation and developed expanded definitions for PATH eligibility criteria and enrollment. These definitions are being adopted on a state-by-state basis and will help increase standardization across PATH programs.
This series of webcasts, which aired on October 13th and 15th, 2009 for state contacts and October 27th and 29th, 2009 for providers, introduced participants to the National Definitions. The webcasts included a presentation and question and answer session where participants were able to clarify their understandings of key concepts about eligibility and enrollment.
