Description: Since 2003, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Continuum of Care Application has required communities to do point-in-time counts of the people who are homeless (sheltered and unsheltered) every 2 years in the last week of January. The next count will be held in January 2009.

This audio conference provides national and local viewpoints on practical strategies and lessons learned about improved data quality and overcoming challenges faced while doing point-in-time counts in rural communities.
