This booklet is written for people with disabilities who want to rent a home — an apartment or house or condominium or co-op — whether privately or publicly owned or operated. (The concepts discussed here also apply to the sale and purchase of housing.) Others who may find the information useful include landlords, housing developers and administrators, real estate agents and advocates for people with disabilities (Bazelon).
