This is a short report based on the SAMHSA’s Drug and Alcohol Services Information System (DASIS), the primary source of national data on substance abuse treatment. The data in this report is from the Treatment Episode Data Set (TEDS) 2002 Supplemental Data Set on living arrangements of people admitted for substance abuse treatment. Females comprised 20% of the homeless admissions. The report also contains information on primary substance of abuse, demographic, socioeconomic and treatment characteristics.
